So is league's knowing propagation of false information actionable? Are damages quantifiable? Is the resolution of the Brady sanction issue the end, or the beginning?

This all stems from Kensil and his grudge against BB and the Pats brass. He found the perfect puppet in Mortensen to spread the initial lie which cemented public opinion and started this whole nonsense. What is saddest about this is there are still people who believe the "11 of 12 balls" was true despite it being debunked 6 months ago. It hasn't been taken off of ESPN and the Mort tweet is still up. If the league is not only spreading lies but also refusing to correct them than I can't see how ANYONE can side with them despite their dislike for the Patriots.

Also love how they spun Brady getting a new phone into him "smashing his phone" ....Criminals

They are making FIFA and the NCAA look like reputable organizations at this point. Unfortunately they are too big to be taken down and they know this. It wouldn't surprise me if the Goodell cartel is working in the best interests of the other owners to put an end to the Brady era. This is what happens when an organization gets to powerful, this wont be the last team/player these cronies go after, take that to the bank.

The Jets were found to have tampered with footballs in a game against New England in 2009. They were fined. No lost draft picks. No suspensions. No media attention.

And the NFL continuously leaked bogus information during this entire process to make the Pats look bad. Then, once proven wrong, the NFL refused to issue corrections or apologies.

Amazing. The more you dig into this, the worse the NFL looks.

The NFL sucks.

Patriots fans sound like a bunch of illuminati nutjobs.

Cognitive dissonance. You have it drilled into your head that no matter what, the Patriots were in the wrong, so when someone says something otherwise, you reflexively dismiss it.

Haha, step outside of your Patriots bubble. Stop spinning yourself in circles trying to cover for Brady, it's a waste of time.

The NFL has, demonstrably, fed the media and public lies and misinformation throughout this process. Some people who rather believe those lies and ignore the truth because they root for a different football team.

This is hilarious, the Patriots aren't even a dynasty.

Perhaps not, since that's a subjective decision. However, by any objective measure (winning %, playoff qualification, winning seasons, championship game appearances, SB appearances, SB championships, etc.), the Patriots are the most successful franchise of the 2000s and it isn't even close.

Well, when you compare the punishment doled out for the Jets and Patriots for the same offense, it's only logical to conclude there's a double standard. When stuff liked this happens repeatedly, it establishes a pattern.

It's so easy to just accept the "Patriots cheat" message from the NFL and the media and not have to think. Simpletons also swallowed the "Bush lied, people died" message a few years ago.

So the NFL feeds Chris Mortenen a lie the day after the title game that clearly sways public opinion and than refuses to correct it despite it being their job to protect all 32 franchises and we're spinning circles? What? Without the initial lie there would have been no public outcry and you are literally the perfect example of that.

We get that you have a political agenda that needs to be be injected into every thread, but if Bush didn't lie it's only because he was too ignorant to know what was going on all around him.

It's hilarious how Belichick won't defend Brady yet you fools try and defend him daily.

Yeah because Belichick is really candid towards the media, am I right?
When your franchise player for the last 15 years is being raked over the coals when he has done absolutely nothing wrong you think his coach or any coach would give him a vote of confidence instead of watching his star player unfairly have is legacy tarnished for something he didn't do. Maybe Bill knows Tom has been getting his footballs deflated for a long time, am I right?

Belichick wouldn't do that if the media told everyone his own mother poisoned school children (im sure you'd believe that.) That's not who he is, never has been never will be but if that is the reason you believe Tom Brady has been deflating footballs for a long time despite the NFL needing to spread blatant lies (you haven't acknowledged this) than you're the one grasping for straws.

FYI, in July of 2008 the US removed 550 tons of yellowcake uranium from Iraq. LINK
Take it to the Cesspool if you want debate this.

I'm not defending Brady. I think he's guilty. I also know the NFL has been unfair to him and the Patriots; the punishment far exceeds the crime. And the hatred of the Pats has been ridiculous.

Maybe Bill is secretly excited about getting 4 games of Jimmy G looking towards the future without having a Favre/Rodgers situation.

When I was at the Pats/Raiders game last year, the fans were openly screaming for Jimmy G to spell Brady. He is a little bit of a cult favorite up there. (much like Tim Boyle was here, at least until he got on the field)

Quoting Mother Jones? Hahahaha.

Every country in the world was in agreement with the intelligence on Iraq.

That's all I'll say on this.
. Well, except for the head of the IAEA and, well France(you'll recall the House GOP renaming freedom fries and freedom toast.)
