4-1 start for Non-P5s vs P5s for 5/12, 6/11, 7/10, and 8/9 games. Georgia/Dayton is the last one of the day, 6 more tomorrow.
Don't forget Missouri State over Florida State in the 11/11 game :)

Crazy 3pt shooting for Utah. 13-20 . Crazy how some teams like Dayton and Utah in the 1st game of the tournament when nerves should be highest can have shooting nights like this.
Maybe a case of not knowing any better. Utah hasn't been to the Tourney since they joined the Pac 12 and their coach had not reached the Tourney either (she did at the D2 level, but that's a different beast than D1).

Home court advantage in the first weekend is a big deal. I don't see LSU or Tennessee losing at home to the teams they might face.
LSU can lose to anyone.... if Morris isn't full go they very well could lose to Jackson St

Don't let Kim over achieving the hell out of this team this year fool you. Its vulnerable. This group of seniors have never been successful in a tourney before.

Utah really cooled off, finished only 15-31 behind the arc. Arky was 4-23.

At one point I looked at the boxscore and Arkansas was 0 for something like 15.

Wow, didn't realize Kelsey Rees had a double double for the Utes. And McQueen led them w/ 20, 6-9 behind the arc. Seems like she gets no publicity at all. Gylten and Maxwell are the vets, they have the 2 hotshot freshmen, but McQueen is a big part of their success as well.

Another lopsided stat, 20 assists for Utah (11 for Gylten), 5 for Arkansas.

Got it half right had USF and FGCU. So far there has been 3 P5 schools lose today. First #12 FGCU takes out #5 VT then #10 Crieghton vs #7 Colorado and #10 South Dakota vs Ole Miss. Still believe that All conferences should be limited to no more than 6 teams.
I had USF and FGCU, too, but I also had Creighton, South Dakota, and Gonzaga. I always pick a lot of non-P5 schools, but this year it's working. :)

I don't foresee Dayton challenging Georgia. They had their once in a lifetime shooting game against DePaul. No way they have a 2nd game in a row like that.

Georgia's up right now but they've really faded as the year has unfolded after getting wins over NC State and Notre Dame.

LSU at home vs Ohio State won't be easy, and Tennessee/Oregon is a wildcard game IMO. Both are so streaky.

In a battle to determine which of two p5 conferences is more overrated, the ACC wins!

Georgia Tech goes out with a whimper to Kansas, 77-58.

Kansas is one of the most pleasant surprises of the season. First NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013.

GT started the season very well, but they stunk down the stretch.

Injuries took a toll on GT. They were down to 6 players who carried the bulk of the minutes. A team needs greater depth to compete.

UT Arlington fighting hard at Iowa State. They are a tough team for the Cyclones. Athletic and physical

Right now, outside of Baylor, the Big 12's big guns are looking not so good with Texas' 18 point victory over a mediocre Fairfield team, and now Iowa State foundering against an equally mediocre UT Arlington team. Iowa State may get out of this, but next up is a significantly better Georgia team.

hey! u jumped the shark!
'A team needs greater depth to compete.'
that's going to be the mantra for the whole kit, kaboodle, lock, stock, and bagel of wbb after this season is completed as that guy, who they named a pizza franchise after, shows how it's done.
our guy.

Also, it's not like Texas' road gets any easier against Utah.

Iowa State officiating...just horrible. Elbows and hooks just completely ignored.

Wait, what? Someone get the Admins, Plebe’s account has been hacked as of course THE REAL Plebe could always foresee Tennessee losing as he despises them AND he always looks forward to any possible game Kim could lose especially at home as he hopes to see a new record in Jacket tossing!
