The PR work by the B12 and its media minions (e.g., Monty show, Josh Neighbors, etc) is all-in.

On the one hand, they're castigating the PAC (which hasn't done itself any favors) while on the other hand they're blowing smoke about UConn, Gonzaga, the 4 corners, and...today...Memphis again.

Are they playing chess or checkers? We shall see.

Too bad the ACC can't/won't renegotiate and merge with the Big East to form a mega East conference that houses solid football and elite basketball. Wishful thinking, I know, but one can dream.

It's not even completed yet. From the story in the College AD, UConn and the Big 12 are talking. "The movement is gaining momentum but not guaranteed to happen. Both sides are still doing their homework."

Why do they want Utah so badly? They've had some nice football seasons but is locking down the state of Utah really that important? I've traveled a lot and been to a lot of sports bars all over. I've never actually met or seen a Utah fan.

Utah averaged 52,000 and are top 40 in home attendance. We averaged 22,000 and are barely in the top 100. That’s why.
