I see no immediate threat to our dominance or legacy. I'm talking college basketball programs. Based on the last 25 years who is next or closest to catching us?
When you think about it, this could be a generational legacy, where we are living on such royalties. I don't see other blue...
I'm too old to recall, so I lean on others. Last year I felt it was AJ's steal, behind the back dunk. I'm struggling this year, mainly because we were so deliberate and methodical, but I know some damn good plays exists.
What was your favorite play this season?
Newton says Zach Edey is too small. I bet no other college player has ever said that to Edey. I wish I knew how to make a gif/meme or whatever, this is some historic shiaat.
Anyway check out our All American with this absurd but funny moment forever capturing his legendary message to Edey:
It was a treat watching him play against the best team in the Nation. He certainly made Clingan better tonight. His stamina was amazing. I just respect how hard he tried to carry his team proving why he was the NPOY. We beat a true Goliath, making this Championship so special.
Its the only two things that we can control and Hurley expects the best of his players (also coaches and himself) in those two categories. Fascinating college player motivational video. How can we not be the best team in the Nation?
Players are the tools to the Championship, Coaches are the Carpenter. Some good info on our Coaching Staff here: A look at Dan Hurley and the UConn men's basketball coaching staff
"A 2013 inductee to the New England Basketball Hall of Fame, Moore has been serving as the staff's "psuedo-GM"'
Was watching backup Center Diarria at NC State (and others in the Tourney) and said to myself I think Samson is a better backup than him. I think we have a very good, capable backup Center who gained experience practicing daily against two different NBA Center teammates.
This whole season I...
No matter what happens next game or two, I'm calling this season (35-3) a success (duh!).

Need a congratulatory fan thread. Yesterday's win was most significant to a lot of old-timers. We've been climbing that Mountain for 25 years.
Tristen Newton says winning the BE Title is harder than the NCAA Championship.
Back on the Mountaintop where we belong:
Its that time.
I always felt it weird that we can be the best team in the land but not in our Conference. Being at the top gets every opponents A game, especially effort. However poor our foes played out of Conference this season, they seem to will transform into a top 20 for one game, when we...
Big Road Game, Big Crowd, Big Time Basketball
Early Season game and I know we have some young pups who I expect to wet their shorts against Kansas. In other words I will be shocked if our freshman were to make big contributions tomorrow. Castle our best freshman but we have 3 others who may...
I recall how often we would start games offensively challenged. Early scoring droughts and double digit deficits were a major concern discussed in chats and on here during the season. Leads were sometimes so large we were gassed trying to come back and valiantly fell short.
Well, I was just...
Lebron may be the only player that can get NBA stars to commit. So glad he is doing this. No offense to the last international squad but the World may have forgotten who we are. I will say I have no idea how much those international teams have really improved. Just saying the original Dream...
Which Championship run, do you marvel at the most?
I want to say 2014. We played St. Joseph's, Florida, MSU and uk (even beat Nova). Team wasn't really all that great, but we had Bazz and the others didn't.
Beating uk 'with our squad' and new Coach was so satisfying.
Freshman football team went undefeated and unscored upon, 10-0. I was the star running back.
Won the basketball tourney in high school and was title game MVP (33 points).
Jalen Brown 5 years, $304 millon. Didn't see that coming. Wonder what that will do to other Superstars valuation.
Jaylen Brown, Celtics agree to record 5-year, $304M supermax extension
Not sure how to put this but what player did you have high expectations for but for whatever reason they did not reach 'your' expectation?
For me I would say Jalen Adams. In high school he was the shizzle (liked him over Briscoe), and he did had a good college career. I just felt he was AA...
Lately I've been weekend channel surfing and I keep seeing a USFL game on. I don't recognize the players and unfamiliar with teams. Hell I don't even know if the rules are the same and the NFL.
I love football but will this be a fading thingy (like before) or is it good football?
New faces, older transfers there was a lot of team building to do. I think for me it was the Georgetown game when we exploded in the 2nd half and Joey C was playing out of his mind. I saw the team screaming, hollering and cheering on the bench, especially the starters. The team was coming...
