....and another reason why I think Deb Antonelli is a dope as a commentator: plug in spot during the Indiana-Miami game had her on the ND floor with Sam Brunelle and she says “I am here with one of the TOP 3 point shooters in the country in Freshman Sam Brunelle”, meanwhile Sam is 12 for 53 for a stellar 22.6%. Technically she’s #49 in the country in most 3 point attempts but not in the Top 230 player for percent made. Aaarrrrggghhh! And this is supposed to enlighten our knowledge of the sport? Come on ACC producers, you can do better than to allow that drivel. I am trying to forget the “word play” that Mowins did with Lindsey and Deb as the was also dreadful. Wasn’t cute or funny.

I really like Brunelle, I think she could have brought a lot to UConn, possibly starting at the 4, and stretching the floor, she also doesn’t mind playing down low at times.

I think she likes being a freshmen starter and doing whatever the heck she wants. Im a fan also but I believe she wouldve had to work alot harder and get in better shape at UConn.

ND could very, very good when Gilbert, Peoples, and Brunelle are seniors if their 2020 class pans out.

Based on who UConn has right now, I'm imagining a UConn starting five of Bueckers, Edwards, DeBerry, and two others by that point.

Once Minn's only size picked up No 4 it's been a feast for N Dame down low. They are in trouble at Storrs. No outside game and grossly undersized down low compared to UConn. (imagine that)
A comeback win vs Minn will get them all giddy and the beat down should be sweet.

Boy, is Lindsey Whelan underwhelming me as a coach as I watch this game. She is following the Holly Warlick path of NOT using timeouts. She watched her team fritter away an 18 point lead and showing no ball movement or lane drives.

Both these teams are not looking good and neither should finish in the top half of their respective leagues if they play like this. Yuk
