That fast break dunk was impressive for the stuff before the dunk.
We’ve seen plays like that. It’s even better seeing him doing it at the next level. Honestly, between his style of play, effort, and personality, are there any guys easier to root for than Andre?

I mean most likely he’ll go overseas and still make around a million a year to play ball.

His NBA career might be in trouble but there’s other places in the world to make good money playing basketball still.
True and I hope he takes advantage

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the chances of him being "smart" with his money are as good as the chances of him having a lengthy NBA career. He had a golden opportunity and appears to have blown it. Who knows why but now he has to figure out life as a washed up ball player.
Yeah. People who make bad decisions in all other aspects of their life are definitely not going to be smart with their money.

Hawk with 13 points in 17 minutes on 3-6 from downtown tonight. Tied for a team high with 3 fouls though.

He grabbed those in the first 6 minutes he played where he was pretty off. I think 0-2 when he went out. One foul was on the break where he was left on an island 1 on 3

Unfortunately he didn't score until 2 minutes left in the 3Q in a 20+ preseason blowout against backups.

But hey, making shots is better than going 1/6 from 3.

I think his play was actually pretty good today, the Pelicans are very talented but they have some serious issues right now judging from the two pre-season games. I didn't really watch them last year at all.

One is easy to fix, two issues are harder. First they seem on permanent chill mode - zero hustle. Second I'm not sure I have seen a slower, more ground-bound center in a long time. He just mucks up everything they seem to try and do on defense and offense. Third they have pretty bad passing in the starting five. But it is pre-season, so maybe they change things around.

In a 33 point loss where the Pelicans shot 39% from the field and 35% from three, Hawkins’ 13 second half points on 42% FG and 50% 3P were above the norm. Not great on the surface, but a top 3 performance on the team during a rough night

He had the best +\- on the team for players that played over 10 minutes at….. -8

Adama seeing the court early vs. Denver tonight and having some trouble as he’s 0-5 from the field with a point and a foul in 7 minutes.

Dre’s mentality in Rudy Gays body/skillset is a top 10 player every year. And more importantly another Natty in the case

Interesting comparison
If Rudy could play D like Jackson he would be sure fire HOFer .
If Jackson develops a shot comparable to Rudy he would be a Superstar.

UConn centers abounded in this game.

Drummond finished with 9 points, 10 boards and 1 steal in 22 minutes.

Sanogo backed him up and finished 3-8 with 4 boards 1 steal and 1 block in 14 minutes.

Brimah got 2 minutes for Denver and finished with 1 point, 2 boards, and a block.
