LSU will hopefully have their sanctions by then. That would put us in a great spot.

Not necessarily. I know it’s twisted logic but the $ will flow to recruits from those programs listed in the FBI report. If they are going to be disciplined it could be for this year but most likely next year and that gives the university (already compromised) monies from fan support for one more season. See LSU and how they handled things.

And that’s the best case scenario for college corruption. There’s a decent chance the NCAA will hand out no disciplinary action. At the very least UNC should have those wins removed in the games they played with their star player ( forget his name) who admitted he was a victim of a sham education.

If this scandal is glossed over the floodgates will open up next year with boosters and coaches who were reticent to playing dirty joining the corruption. The top 100-300 recruits will not need university or video game monies to supplement their scholarships. They will be well compensated to attend universities.

we'd obviously rather have cam but what if getting jackson could also seal the deal with cliff??

No pretense necessary. Odds are low but not zero. Always a small chance a recruit not expected to commit gets excited by the Dairy Bar or a weird dude at a urinal.

i agree but we got the coveted "last OV" which many here put a lot of stock into (myself not included)

sure it has. we can only take 3 guys max and 1 has to be a center. so if we get lane (that was my hypothetical) that means the second spot is for a center* (unless it's josh gray perhaps), and the third spot is for either thomas or jackson.

*optimistic the center will be cliff, cardwell or Javonte Brown Ferguson

Cam no doubt, probably Jackson too. If both of those guys were to be fully on board and our staff was just like "nah were all set" I'd be pretty pissed.
