Horses that win a 100 point qualifier have won 8 of last 10 Derby. Those horse are:
Forte, Angel of Empire, Tapit Trice, Lord Miles, Two Phil's, Kingsbarn, and Derma Sotogake.

Horses that have Beyer speeds of 99 or more:
Verifying, Two Phil's, Tapit Trice, Kingsbarns, Skinner, Forte.

I read 6:57. Usually ends up a few minutes after that.

As of noon, Tapit Twice and Angel of Empire are co-favorites at 9/2.

Fianl bets were on Tapit Trice, Two Phil's and Angel of Empire across the board and boxed a trifecta of Two Phil's, Angel of Empire and Derma Sogotake. The trifecta was a bet between three of us and they both went across the board with Derma Sogotake in their individual bets.

Horse is worth probably 40-50 million right now. Rather safe than sorry. He is the real deal, was triple crown threat

Picked Angel of Empire and Tapit Trice on a box early today before the line moved. Should have done it last night, odds were better. Picked a couple underneath with nice odds. There's no American Pharaoh in this group, so you never know. It would not surprise me to see a Japanese horse finally take the Derby, should be fun.

You can change the name of a horse only if it has never run a race or bred, for a fee. I'm guessing they purchased the horse after it had already raced, probably a claiming race, but yeah Mandarin is definitely not Japanese.
