We are victims of our own success in the first half. We've seen these letdowns recently in the second half.
As for USF it's funny that they looked so catatonic in last night's game. If they played THIS hard they would have won last night by 30.

UConn's play very disappointing. If I'm a potential NCAA opponent watching this game I'm thinking the Huskies can be beat.

Of course they can but as we saw with Stanford they have to beat themselves. Beware of the letdowns after a stellar 1st half.

A Geno-lead team shouldn't have letdowns. It's not how they do things. This is just a poor second half. USF clearly has some confidence against UConn.

Only 13 assist 3 blocks and 2 3's. This is not our traditional team..... But the win will still feel great

It is the defensive intensity that is lacking for UConn. Breanna is really struggling defensively.

Mo is the only guard in the game, unless you count Gabby or KML as a "guard"

Give me a break. They're not robots.

Normally, we don't need Stewart to take 3's, but it is clear, if we want to be absolutely complete team, Brianna needs to take and make 3's. It is affecting her game, I think.

Now Rebecca is talking like KML is a guard: "Look at the size of Mosqueda-Lewis's shoulders. There are few guards in the country who can [deal with that size]."

Another missed call by the refs. Stewie got fouled.

Kind of rude way to put it.....how many conference championship games have you played???

It's rude to say she's been a non-factor? She has zero points and one assist. How would you characterize it?

No way anyone is going to convince me USF deserves to get to the line more than us. They are handicapping a 20 point lead like they always do to give the other team a chance. Whatever. We'll win by 15-20 instead of 30-40.

Getting physical is the way to go against UConn. Geno has to tel his team, they need to play through it. This will be a common theme against UConn. BUT... props to USF, they are not only physical (on defense) but they can make baskets. The key to beating UConn... make shots.

I'd call it a game where she hasn't scrored. Her scoring has been down the second half. Not unusual for a Frosh. Her defense and effort is solid. We have plenty of offense.

I would say she is a freshman who has had a great season and is entitled to an off night. So I answered your question... Answer mine. How many conference championships have you played in? Did you have more points and assist?

Well someone at the guard position hasn't played great defense because it's SF's three guards who are doing all the damage.
