Why hasn't he said that yet?
That's a bingo
So some guy thinks Gilbert is a better version of Chris Paul and throws some useless speculation on how much he might love Louisville. Dope
the kid is smart not to commit to a school in april I don't think this is a staff issue rather than timingI shared this with a few others already....
Each passing day with Gilbert contributes to the narrative of staff being unable to close. Several instances where we were in lead, get visit, and miss. Need to halt that asap. Hoped Gilbert was the piece to end this. The 'ville offer and this article make me feel otherwise.
I have no basis to disagree with any of that, but the only thing that seems a bit silly to me is the notion that anyone is considered to be "in the lead" until the final decision. It seems pretty meaningless to me. The only thing that matters is the close, and the crystal ball and "in the lead" stuff seems to be mostly based on who had the most recent visit.I shared this with a few others already....

At what point do we stop making these excuses?the kid is smart not to commit to a school in april I don't think this is a staff issue rather than timing

It hasn't mattered what month it's been, what type of schools they're up against, or anything in between. This staff has reportedly been in the lead for a long list of guys, but they just can't seem to seal the deal.

If he hasn't committed yet, then he's not coming here.
That's the problem right there. By whose "report"? We really have no idea until they decide, and the rest of the bs just sets up improperly inflated expectations.reportedly been in the lead
There are plenty of 2016 kids already committed.
Yeah, it kinda is.12 out of the ESPN Top 60. 20% isn't "plenty".
Yeah, it kinda is.
Im not saying kids don't commit early, what I was saying is from a recruit's perspective its smarter to wait out the recruitment process and see how things unfold, high school coaches advise kids to not commit all the time and to wait and see what happens and get more offers (like Gilbert)There are plenty of 2016 kids already committed.
