The A-10's were bad ass and it seemed they flew around CT lower than 1000 feet when they were at Bradley. They would come by often on practice runs and for parades on Memorial Day. I saw an F15 swing by Marconi Beach in August one year and he put on a show for a few minutes flying by upside down one pass and going straight up on another. LOUD! Should be fun tomorrow everyone. Enjoy! We have waited long enough for improved UConn football.

Nope - I was wrong whaler - 4 jumpers made the jump that night in 2010, and 2 of them landed outside the stadium. Windy night, and they probably went out in pairs, and the timing and wind, one pair didn't make it. I remember them carrying game balls. Pretty cool.
Army Rangers or not they had MORE than game balls :D for jumping that night !!!!

Be thankful it wasn't a supersonic low pass by some of the planes out there. They do it routinely and it will scare the poop right out of you.
Used to happen a lot when I was young... no regs about sonic booms until '60s at least.
