I think if we win realistically 8-12. But if you look at just this season and drop any preseason assumptions about anyone - we should be top 5. Texas, UVA, Arizona, and us have been the most impressive teams. Big if though - never take any win for granted.

I'm guessing maybe top 10 if we win, 12-15 if we lose? Liking the idea of the win and possibility of running the non-conference slate undefeated. Then starting conference play with Butler on the road, Gtown and Nova at home and then X on the road before hitting Providence.

Gonna say 5 or 6 if we win. Writers tend to cheat off Kenpom and the cbs guys. They’d all probably have us around 5/6 if we win.

Surprised Iowa state is 45 in kenpom after knocking off the #1 team and that a 2 loss (not so good) Gonzaga is ahead of us. We should be a top ten when we whoop Iowa state, although I don't like the rankings which are left up to others. Let's stick to what we have controlled so far which is beating up on these other teams. Uconn never gets the love they deserve.

I was thinking about Monday also. I may see the biggest jump in the polls I have ever seen. I agree with folks that say top 10 if we win. I would love to see the justification if we don't.

#8 on Kenpom currently

Kenpom has us favored by 10 over Iowa State, so we have to win by that much just to stay around #8. I don't think it's likely the voters will feel a need to put us higher than the Kenpom rating, due to inertia and the fact that there are still 23 undefeated teams and highly rated teams with losses. So probably about #8 if we win, #12 if we lose.

I hope Hurley and his staff experiment with more of Sanogo and Clingan on the floor at the same time, along with maybe Hawkins, Newton, and Karaban. Certain teams are clueless on how to defend that.

#8 already in this daily update with Iowa St #19. Kansas #15, Duke #16, NC #20, all outside top 10. Huge Maui respect based on high quality games there. Arizona #3, Creighton #5, Ark #6. PK respect with Purdue #7, UConn #8, Zags #9, Bama #10, Mich St #11. All higher than Atlantis winner Tenn #14, Kansas #15. Interesting that some of the losing teams outrank a Tenn major tourney trophy in eyes of rankers. Texas #1 Houston #2, but Arizona at #3 is the best at this moment that I have seen so far.

In 2010-2011 the Huskies went from unranked receiving only 8 votes to number 7 after winning Maui. That has to be the biggest jump we've ever seen from UConn.

I know nothing about Iowa state other than watching them briefly play Carolina. If they try to slow us down we can still throw the ball into Sonogo and Clingan and either they will get a good shot or pass out to an open 3. We should win this game by 10-20 points. I’ll be severely disappointed if we lose.

If we win big, 7 or 8
If we squeak out a 1 to 4 point win, 12
If we lose a tight game, 17
If we get blown out, somewhere in the mid-20s.

CBS Sports Gary Parrish had us at #8 immediately after the Alabama win. So I’ll go with #8.

With a loss to an undefeated ISU who beat UNC, maybe #12-13-ish.
