I’ve heard of her, but know nothing about her, but now I will look her up. I can see some folks getting her and Amari mixed up as their names are similar.

Nothing is guaranteed but apparently, she seems to be one of those UConn lifers. In the local article posted,

"UConn has long been coveted by Berry, who has been a fan of the program from the time she picked up a basketball as a small child"

There is still a lot of time before Berry signs her LOI, but her interest in UConn is yet another indication of how things have changed in Knoxville. There was a time when Pat was running things that Berry would have never even considered leaving the state of Tennessee.

I could very easily live with Imani Berry. She appears to have a high motor, runs the floor well, makes good decisions on fast breaks, good defensive skills, as well as a better-than-average handle.

She’s going to ball for somebody, why not us? If she’s already a UConn lean, all the better.

I think some of our recent players have help shine the light on the program once again. Also some of these ballers are knowledgeable of UConns history and the legends the program has created.
