Davis gives me Joey California vibes...
  • Veteran guard from Cali.
  • Elite shooter from deep (2.6 3PM last season, 40.1 3p% across the last two seasons)
  • Can play PG in a pinch (played the 2 this season, but was the backup 1 his freshman season)
  • Very low TO rate (11.5 is good for 196th in the country)
In addition to this, he's got closer potential in his ability to generate fouls (4.3 fouls/drawn per 40 is 471st in the nation) and connect from the charity stripe (88.4 FT% was 36th in the nation).

However, Davis averaged 15.0 ppg last season, so I'd imagine he's looking for more PT than what UConn probably could offer for a Calcaterra type pickup.

Also like how he's coached by Russell Turner, one of the best in the biz.

ellis put up pretty good numbers at Lville, 17-2.5-4.5, but it's hard to know if he was just a looter in a riot or not. shot better overall than newton (41% v 37%) but worse from three (36.5% v 32%).

Perfect fit for Cohen, who I've watched twice live when he played at Sacred Heart.

Trayce Jackson-Davis-esque on the offensive end in his ability to score under the basket and facilitate from the elbow. I expect a lot of juicy Cohen to Cross kick outs next season.

Averaged 21.8p, 8.3r, 2.5a and 58.5 FG% in his junior season. Two years eligibility remaining.

Should be plenty of shots available as they will have a 3 man roster at this point.

Kinda shocked that Krisa chose West Virginia...? Assumed he was headed to Xavier.

WVU could have Jose Perez and Krisa in the backcourt next year? Solid.

Creighton has a big nil budget too. So they must’ve decided he wasn’t worth whatever he’s going to get. Wouldn’t be surprised if they land a big fish in the portal to replace him.

…and maybe McDermott thinks it was a foul
An underrated aspect of the portal is going to be when coaches say "You're not worth this much, good luck finding it somewhere else." I'm sure its happening already.

I don't know much about Michigan basketball, but I do know that Jackson was not a good fit for Seton Hall under Holloway: Jackson is basically a bigger version of Tyler Polley...a 6'10 215 stretch-four who connected 37.5% from three but lacks in other aspects.

He'll be a nice bench piece for Howard.

Towson Nick Timberlake coming next Friday 6’4” guard 41% from 3. Considering North Carolina and now us I guess. He just added that visit today.

Points over replacement per adjusted game at that usage.

It's a Torvik thing.

None of the schools are putting up any of this money. I keep seeing X school has a good NIL budget, but it's all third parties, donors, boosters. The schools can't do it. At best they can introduce players to those who can.

NCAA is going to come down on this stuff in recruiting. They will do their best to allow NIL but not allow it as an inducement to sign with a school out of HS or as a transfer. Charlie Baker is already talking about it, and I think the coaches and schools mostly want to get it under control.

He's visited UNC and is visiting Kansas and us next week.
From JC’s hometown, having 5 NC’s in 24 years, ranked #1 for next year, a spot for him and a likely offer-how can he not become a Husky?!?!

No idea who the leader is here but seems like we have a pretty good chance of playing against him

Wonderful passer and a boatload of creativity out of the 6’6 point guard.

All Big East teams are nice fits with Nembhard/Bynum in the portal and Boum out of eligibility.
