They had 2,8 after the basket, probably 1.8 left when he shot, but yea he could have had 2 more dribbles.

It was all right there for the Johnnies but they blew it with three empty possessions, including the shot clock violation, the air ball, and the panic heave at the end. Stark contrast between one team that knows how to win and one that doesn’t. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much better we’d do in the same situation.

There were also 2 questionable calls against Posh that limited his playing time.

The bottom line is that, much like Duke, Villanova will always get the late game call from the referee which frequently determines the game’s outcome.

I agree, the 3 foul on Posh was also BS and that changed the game. Same ref made that call and the call with 2 seconds left. Same freaking ref.
