I had zero confidence in Edsall's ability to make the right choice at QB. Deservedly so. Edsall often got the order completely upside down.

Mora couldn't do worse. Let's hope he does better.
As much as a I have given you crap for always supporting the back up QB...you are right about edsall.

I'm hoping that with the deeper pool to choose from and with the better schemes and coaching coming from the staff, the best QB choice will emerge from the pack organically.

Before you burn brain cells on the #retroEdsallanger - let's consider the Away game early one year where Paul Pasqualoni gave QB1 to Johnny McEntee. I know its early April; but, I am loving the stories of Krajewski & Roberson & Phommachanh & (even) Southington walkon. Cale Millen coming in; Zion Turner as prospect. How do you start a NEW HC position in this millenium with Johnny? I know his alternatives ... and I think my qualifications aren't Pasqualoni-ish nor George. Moorhead was there? This was Braindead; and I am sitting in an ugly concrete cold University at Buffalo stadium looking at our starting lineup.

Not making a bowl game that year was criminal. Killed all of the program's momentum. While you had his apologist on the beat saying the cupboard was bare. Dark times.

Did Gourdine just gain 50 lbs?
I doubt it. Listed at 288 which seems right.

Don't get me wrong -- I love having SI dedicate someone to us. However, my sense is that (I have stated this elsewhere) the quality control there has diminished because of cost-cutting. I think Serritella has been doing a great job but he and his colleagues need their bosses to invest in fact-checkers.

Probably a case of rushing to get content posted fast before taking the time to verify details from the roster. It is definitely nice to see such an increase of information and content coming out from official and media sources (albeit with the limitations that some have pointed out)

I have that more of the same feeling in the pit of my stomach. The idea of Steven Krajewski as a known quantity holding his own with the prospective upgrades is not the feeling I was hoping for.

Sounds like another off-season of multiple QB contender, which of course means we have zero QB contenders. And while I'm at it, it is nice to hear good things about Fitzgerald, Ross and Marion are both very good and that we aren't hearing more about them is also troubling.

What feeling were you hoping for? Good thing the spring game is few Weeks away. Maybe you should attend to have a firsthand look instead, I have been hearing positive things about the team and qbs this spring. It sounds as if Steven is actually developing under a good coaching staff and getting reps with the 1s unlike under our previous regime who did not allow him gets reps with the 1s nor did a solid qb competition but played favorites.

Its Freaking practice people...practice against who??? Your brothers!!! Its hard to get a good read about practice when you are playing your own guys. And when coaches and players are using this time to practice new techniques and skills. Everyone is learning out there.

On the matter of Steven Krajewski, I'm not surprised he is holding his own at the point...he has been throwing to most of these guys for 2-3 years rather than just a few weeks.

Does anyone have any updates on some of the other position groups that maybe we haven't heard about too much? Haven't heard a lot of information about running backs, linebackers, and the specialist. Not complaining one bit... I've loved the open to the media approach that we are taking, and haven't minded Ric's analysis (although sometimes lacking proper fact-checking). Just wondering if anyone has heard anything, couldn't be more excited to watch the spring game and maybe make it out to the open practice!

They haven’t installed half of the playbook from what I’ve heard, but working progressively towards it.

I just Mora would stop procrastinating and name a starter already.
