Shooting percentages have been low for the losing teams so far.Iowa is 26-51 shooting.
NCState is 22-62.
I got here a little while ago; I didn’t miss much of a game.Settled in for the next five hours here at the coliseum. Hope to see a couple of good tight games.
This has been a very special team, led by a very special player. 24 assists on 31 made buckets is downright UConn-like. But it's hard for me to see them having much of a shot against Baylor.
Just don't compare her to Shaq, apparently that's a grievous insultBrown is a big gal
I feel kind of bad for Dawn - I just don't think she has the personnel to match Baylor no matter what strategy she tries - she's giving something up no matter what. The only way to take Baylor down is to have two strong post presences that can defend and block and also score on the other end, hassle the bigs into foul trouble, and then beat them with outside shooting, which Baylor's guards aren't especially terrific at. The only teams I think can do that are Oregon and UConn (and Stanford did it earlier this season, but I don't think we'd be able to do it again, especially without Fingall).Dawn going with a 4-guard lineup hoping to run and score in transition, but obviously giving up a HUGE mismatch on the defensive end. Cliney right now is guarding Cox
Not at game but on Tv looks like better crowd than NC ST Iowa but long away from a sell out. Those of you at the game, how does the crowd break down? Did South Carolina travel well?
