Mullin needs to call a reunion of former SJU greats and invoke some pride into that outfit. How the hell can a NYC Div1 school fall to this level?

I do think that Mullin will not tolerate laziness or partial effort. I hear he's still a gym rat.

Mullin is going to find out this is harder than he thought. Houston tried this approach with Clyde Drexler, and it didn't work. Being a great player, and being a gym rat doesn't automatically mean you can coach. The number of successful coaches who were great players is small, especially in college. John Wooden comes to mind. Can you think of any more?

That team also beat Nebraska and Princeton last year ,against St Johns they hit 11 threes.
Not usually their strength.
The Lady of the Lake(Notre Dame de Laus) is the ultimate up tempo team .
They have scored 136pts in a win and 99 in a loss.
They shot 17-27 from the three in beating UofTIW who only kept it close by hitting 27 for 33 on FT . Even the refs couldn't pull this one out for them.
Apparently they don't believe in defense in Texas but I wish we could shoot FT like that.
That's why college ball is great ,if we win the NC this year a little NAIA school in Texas can claim they were better than us using comparative scores.
