He played a great first half.
He was so friggin good. It looked like he was shot out of a cannon on defense, and his 2 Threes were dead on right through the net. One from the corner, one from foul line extended. Beautiful !

Haliburton decided to try to end the game himself, and it's working

Andre plays 25 minutes and finishes with the best +/- of all Bucks players at +9. The other two that finished positive only played 2 garbage time minutes each.

Mike Conley Jr. was on the same college team as Greg Oden and Oden is in a nursing home.

Bradley Beal has been playing like a scrub this entire serie. He is getting destroyed in his match up against Ant Edwards

It's sad because Oden would've been a player. Maybe not an all-time great like the guy who went one pick later, but good enough that it would have been tough to give Portland too much grief for taking him.

Speaking of Durant, boy will his basketball eulogy be tricky to write when he's all done. You'd struggle to find a more flawless player in any era, and he's pretty much universally regarded as a selfless, hardworking teammate. Yet I'm not sure the word "winner" is one that will come to anyone's mind, and that's sad.

Nuggets have to close out tonight with Murray's calf issues, makes them coming out so flat on Saturday even worse
They've come out flat and totally unfocused every single game and outside of MPJ the team is shooting 19% from three. It's time for Jokic to be totally aggressive from the outset.

The Bucks hiring Doc was a fantastic move for this Celtics fan. Nobody more sure to screw that team up.
Celtics need to worry about the Heat and their own tendency to flame out

I think that's under control. My point about Doc is that I don't think he has actually adapted to the modern game. I think he's still out there trying to put together a great team for 2002. So he doesn't see what Andre does. He doesn't really value off the ball activity. He's a dinosaur.

Isn’t he on Butlers staff?
Correct, had issues with pain killers and was in a clinic (not nursing home) for rehabilitation. Doing very well now, received his degree in 2019 and is currently with Butler as an assistant coach.

I don't watch a lot of NBA, hardly any in regular season unless it's to check in on one of our guys.

So I don't think I've ever really seen (or recalled) the Celts playing in black unis.

I hate it. They should be the Yankees of the NBA and just not mess with tradition.

Made a great move to the basket and missed the layup. JV rebounded and scored.
Then missed a corner 3, but a foul called under the basket.

Lower leg injuries taking down players left and right, Porzingis with a strained calf that looked pretty bad.
