One observation about AD Dave that irks me. I sent him an email when the band didn’t show up for the game- and I got no response. Nothing. At a minimum I would expect an auto reply thanking me for the message.
The Marching Band does not fall under the Division of Athletics, so while it would have been nice to get an e-mail back from AD David Benedict, it does not surprise me he did not respond.

Well...they let Cincinnatii play in the 4 team CFP...and Cincinnati not scoring a single TD in the game did not do much to build confidence that the best of the G5's would compete with the best of the P5's.
Yeah but didn’t Michigan get beat even worse that year by TCu?

I suppose but then TCU lost by 50 last year. And Michigan lost by MORE than Cinci did. Doesn’t say much about the BIGs abilities either. But I’m not arguing that teams should get into the Final Four. But that there will be tears when there aren’t great teams and there will be upsets in the early rounds that result in unexpected teams getting through. But I agree, just like in basketball when the chips are all in bet on the blue blood. I mean 2 times UConn has gotten to the Finals and played an upstart. Neither was much of a game.
Yeah, but the games against Butler and SDSU weren’t close either….

You know what making a deal with Mohegan and Foxwoods wouldn’t be that bad of an idea. They can build a smaller joint casino and UConn can agree to like 25% of slot revenue to use the land and be in the stadium
Interesting but have some back room talks with the Native Americans first to test the waters.

Michigan did not play TCU that year...they lost to Georgia.

They did lose to TCU the season before but put up 45 points vs 51....not a Cincinnati like two FG game and 6 points.

I’m not sorry some of you people were offended. Particularly clueless basketball fans who NIL for 10 guys is the same thing as NIL for a football team.

Mora is right. And I’m sure he is acutely aware of his and the staff’s shortcomings this season. He has talked at length about them.

I’m glad he’s invested.

This guy has been nothing but a support since his name first started popping up associated with UConn. This is the exactly the type of publicity that can help bring in more donors

Did you throw in for $5 bucks?

NIL or not, plenty of players on this year's team were over their heads.

They still need to find new homes.

Bringing in higher level talent takes money. Shuffling around FCS talent can be done at the same funding level.

We need more than FCS talent. With FCS talent you get FCS results.

That was my point.

If there is no more NIL coming in, you can boot the lower level players but you're replacing them with the same.

A bunch of players need to go but money is needed to upgrade replacements.

Not seeing where to direct the one time investment in the Damelio site. Is there a comment section somewhere?
