I disapprove of this pole because it makes me feel really old. Had this been the start of January I'd be in that nice 25-39 bracket. Now I'm in the 40-54. ?

Anyway, I'm 40. Grew up in Northern Jersey my whole life and didn't follow UConn until I was accepted and watched them win the NC in '99. Chose UConn for their basketball over Penn State and their football. Haven't regretted it to this day. Have plenty of fond memories and remember camping out for student season tickets. Watching Caron was my favorite part of the 4 years I was there. I always heard my older friends talk about how insane campus was after they won in '99 and then I graduated in '03 before they won it in '04. So those 4 years between NC were when I was there. Played in the pep band, mostly for the women's band, so I have tons of memories from traveling and such. My wife is a UConn grad and we're raising our daughters to be fans as well. We're successful with one, the other could care less about sports.

30. My dad worked at Pratt in Jupiter and we were part of the wave of families they moved up to East Hartford in the late 90’s.

My first UConn memory is the 99 title run, which I followed while we still lived in Florida knowing we’d be moving to Connecticut - which made the idea pretty cool to me. Class o’ 2013.

To young for kemba and the kids. Just old enough for Shabazzkets and the Boat show. Came back for my graduate career in the hopes that my extra 6 years here will net me #2 as a student.

51 - earliest UConn memories watching UConn lose an overtime game at The Cage at UMass. Karl Hobbs was the pg. Then a year or two later saw UConn play a Chris Mullin led St. John’s game at HCC. Lost a tight one. Was a student for the last game in the field house, opening of Gampel, JC starting to become the GOAT of coaches, first BE regular season and tournament championships, ran on to MSG floor after that tourney win to celebrate, so many great mems. Been a season ticket holder ever since. So thankful for the ride UConn hoops has taken me on!
