29. first uconn memory was watching the '99 run with my dad, who graduated in 1975. i fell in love with the '04 team and then rediscovered my love of basketball during the 2010's. i was a member of the lucky uconn class of 2014 that had kemba freshman year and shabazz senior year. i've been completely hooked since graduating.

Started following UConn in the mid 70's with Tony Hanson and Al Weston then Corny Thompson and Mike McKay.

The dream season was the most fun I've had even though it ended against Puke in the Final 8

I’m 33 and my whole family on both my moms and my pops sides are all huge UConn fans. My pops had a baseball scholarship to UConn in ‘73 as a left-handed pitcher. The fam is so die hard. I’m talking about having UConn rooms in all of their houses LOL.I have had a bunch of family and friends attend and graduate from UConn so I have been blessed to have been able to meet and hang out with players because my homies had class with them. First memory is watching us in ‘96 and the Big East Tourney. I remember when ray hit that shot and my grandmother (GOD rest her soul) screamed out “ nobody in the big East is messing with my ray including you Mr. Iverson! I have missed only ONE game since then. I love my Huskies

Chris Smith vs UNC and crossing over King Rice into falling. Damn I wish to see that again. I haven't seen a replay of that.
I don’t recall that but I want to see it again too!!! I think I became a Uconn fan during Smith’s final two years. Those are my earliest memories of Uconn.

I’m also surprised. I would have guessed that you were around ten years younger based on your comments.
My friend, I expect this from someone with the handle of LBird33....but you?

Tried to vote. It wouldn't let me. Anyway, the dirt they excavated to build your house? I'm older than that stuff.

Actually -- 75.

Class of 83 but started following the Joey Whelton/Tony Hansen teams in the 70’s back when they only appeared in black and white.

*No beds were burned.
What about couches?
I get demographics from the ad vendors. The results of this poll are pretty far off.

47. I went to a game at the Fieldhouse with a friend and his dad. We played Seton Hall on January 30, 1985 and won. Many archives show the game was at HCC, it was not. Seton Hall didn’t get HCC status until a few years later when they improved.

Earl Kelley was the man and Ray Broxton dunked. I had been a fan (I even watched Hartford Hawks games) but being there in person changed everything. Aside from my immediate family, nothing has brought me more joy in life than UConn basketball.

12 CD's for one penny.
Ah, the halcyon days when students mostly didn't have credit cards for Columbia to actually check if there was a real person to bill. Of course, that was back in the vinyl days when most everyone in our dorm put in an order under a fake name.
