Okay, am I crazy but her release of her 3pt shot is so low and a bit slow. That seems to be a problem??

Her mechanics have been debated here before. She holds her left elbow straight out, but her shooting has been fantastic to this point. Plus, she creates a lot of space with her dribbling and footwork.

Samuels sitting way down at #35 on HoopGurlz is a joke.

She is the real deal. I did not realize what an effortless shooter she is from outside.

UConn`s 2023 class is terrific. I wonder if they are done.

They could go for another inside player but I think they are really high on Sarah Strong 2024 (who wouldn`t be!) and may not want to risk making getting her more difficult.

perhaps a relic of middle school when the ball was just too heavy to shoot without some extra effort............nobody seems to have stopped her so far but big time college defenses will certainly challenge her......

You see how quick she loads and fires in that video just above yours? I'm not convinced she's going to be slowed down in college.

Jamelle and a slew of other coaches watching ETA Thunder and TN SOL tonight.

ETA Thunder is the team of 2023 Avery Treadwell, the big UConn seemed to show interest in a couple months ago.

TN SOL is the team of Lauren Hassell, the 2027 wunderkind who is going to be all the rage in a couple years, and who UConn is following.

I think Geno is in Cincinnati watching UAA. Not sure who is playing there.

Should note that Imari Berry, the 2024 PG is also on the TN SOL team Jamelle was watching.

And at that same tournament are UConn POI:

Sarah Strong, Keziah Lofton, and Taliyah Parker.
