Well, that they're undefeated is certainly factual. More dubious is his claim that they're "first place in the Big 12" -- although even that may be technically accurate since they're in a 10-way tie for first place at 0-0

I think he's the Tech basketball radio guy, which at a lot of schools tends to be a "hype man" type of role

It was a 3-point shooting showcase in 1Q. Iowa State set a torrid pace, hitting their first seven (I think) 3s before finally missing with 1:31 left in the quarter.

Iowa State is not that great this year. Their red-hot shooting in 1Q was an anomaly.

Entertaining game. Brewer and Gordon are a nice 1-2 punch for TT w/ 14 and 15, PG Carr has 11. Rest of the team has 5 combined.

That's Cindy Brunson, who also does Pac-12 work (in fact I don't remember her working for Fox before). Yeah she's a little over the top in general. It might be my imagination but I can almost hear Agler thinking, "Would you tone it down there lady?"

Anyway, Texas Tech did well to rally there. Lexi Gordon is playing fantatstic, 15 points and 6 assists in the 1st half is crazy. Brittany Brewer is a stud at center, she actually missed several shots she usually makes and still had 14 in the half. Point guard Chrislyn Carr added 11.

Gordon had several steals as well. She was very involved in that rally but it looked like Brewer completely took over the 2nd quarter. Joehns is really good but she's getting outplayed so far this game.

ISU w/ a real quick 5 points to start Q3 and Stallings had to burn a TO.

Stollings's teams in Minnesota were also known for not playing defense. They've given up a lot of easy buckets to ISU in Q3 on defensive breakdowns and getting beat in transition.
