Pitino went out of his way to say that any guy he didn’t keep was selfish, not a team player, etc. Kind of a crappy thing to do.
Is there something that happens to CBB coaches once they hit 70?! (Boeheim reference)

Pitino did say something like needing to clean house, but he was keeping Soriano and already made him captain, I think. He'll be in the market for many elite premium portal players. Expecting a battle.

Have an INSIDE SOURCE saying that Posh was very unhappy about how everything went down with Mike Anderson and plans on leaving St. John's, but would love to stay in the Big East and be close to home. Not saying its a done deal by any means, but with those requirements you have to think UConn will be a strong consideration. Bigger hurdle is getting him onboard with coming off the bench or at least understanding that he will not have a defacto starter spot
Looks a lot like a player for shaheen holloway and seton hall at this point and not for the huskies

Who is still in the Portal.

KE looks like a good guy though, Providence should be glad in the end here. I think they may be better off long term without Cooley. I can't wait to see Cooley be the doormat of the league next year. And it's coming.

Would love to know what's going on in CFJ's head right now. I wonder whose decision it is to stay in Providence.

I dont think a transfer would be automatic for him. He already transferred once, he would have to get a waiver possibly, even with coaching change. Recent NCAA guidance.

Tom doesn’t like the mega-threads so somebody can create a new premium thread every day and watch as it devolves into plebe talk.

Threads are like Viagra - Good for about four hours. If you count cuddling, awkward sleep, and breakfast you may get to the next day. After that, it's the competition (new threads that haven't devolved) that's stiff.

Maybe he has a nice NIL deal to stay with Providence
Yea maybe free medium iced coffees at dunkin after 2PM, but I don’t think PC can swing any substantial NIL $ for their 11th man (granted he’ll be shooting up their depth chart this year)

I think Pitino cleaning house with players for his style.
I have not read through the rest of the thread, but this tweet confirmed what I thought would happen. I was basing this off of a St. John's fan that posted here when Pitino was hired and as well as what Pitino publicly stated. Pitino said they are looking to get 8 new players and he made Soriano captain. I think he is going to bring, or at least try to bring, Walter Clayton Jr. and Daniss Jenkins from Iona. If that happens, where would Posh Alexander find playing time? He wouldn't, is the simple answer.

Posh is my favorite non-UConn player.
