Creighton looks slow and if they can't shoot they don't create much offense. The big guy is getting punked inside on drives all game long. Creighton was overrated?

Maybe Kalkbrenner shouldn't have run his mouth at the start of the season.

Nebraska lost to St. John's by 20!

I know they're better than they played today, but holy crap, Creighton looks horrible. I honestly feel like Kalkbrenner has been playing with mono all season. Crazy slow feet, and he just looks like he feels sick most of the time.

This is a brutal loss for Creighton and the conference. Creighton basically put a ceiling of a 5 seed on their season with this loss.

One game is a bad shooting night. This is 2 in a row. They might just not be a good shooting team, and that is a problem with the offense they have.

Gotta give it to Hoiberg. He is a good coach. However, this is bad for the league.

UConn is literally saving the league. Take us out of the league and you are looking at the A-10 right now.

And when Creighton pressed they got picked apart by Nebraska‘s passing. I know ESPN announcers said Kalkbrenner looked sick in the last game in Maui, but he got destroyed by his man. His man was actively moving which exploits Kalkbrenner’s weakness, slow feet.

They've played better against better teams. Even good teams play bad games. I wouldn't take too much from this.
Yeah hopefully we look at this as a minor footnote when it’s all said and done, but this loss is as of now is a bad look for the Big East

I don't see how they hold up all year with only 5 or 6 guys. Farabello had the game of his life today but it was still only 6 guys in the boxscore. No depth and being fairly unathletic is not a great recipe.

Good team because of the starting 5 but I just don't see how they can go far. This isn't a reaction to this game, their total lack of depth has shown from the first game.

ACC is 17-24 (.415). However, they have more bad losses IIRC and they have played less major conference opponents per school.
Everyone but Georgetown is KenPom Top 100 right now.

The ACC has 4 sub-100 teams, including putrid Florida State and Louisville. Like...how can Louisville be this bad? I hate that program because of realignment, but it makes no sense.

I think that's fair. We have a poster suggesting they may not make the NCAAs. Suggesting they have a Top 10 starting 5 but may not make the second weekend because of depth is a totally rational take.

I couldn't watch but just checked the box score. Wowwwwwwwww that's bad

Kaluma 0-8, Nembhard 3-13, Scheierman 4-12, Alexander 3-12. No starter with more than 10 points

When you have literally no bench, you can't afford to have all of your starters flame out like that. Farabello had 5 threes off the bench and 16 points, otherwise this would have been a massacre
