I was seriously unimpressed with him. In my opinion, there's no way he makes it to the association.

He can't defend without fouling. He can't shoot. He doesn't exactly have handle. So he rebounds and dunks.
Not a typical frosh season with reduced schedule, Covid breaks, out several weeks with bad wrist. He never really got it going. But he's a stud with all the tools except a consistent shot and if he finds that then watch out. I think your opinion of him will change as this season progresses.

He may make it to the NBA but I’ll be really surprised if it is that soon. He’d neex to have made massive improvements this off-season.
I won't even bet it, I'll just pay someone if they think he makes it to the league after this year. They can use it for mental health assistance.

I hope so.

Saying he has zero chance of making the NBA is just flat out wrong. 1st round pick after his sophomore year is a steep hill to climb but if he shows even a half decent shot it'll happen. But I don't see any chance he's not in the NBA eventually, he has way too much talent and every team will think they have a star if they can fix his shooting

I'm not as down on him as XL but I can understand where he's coming from. There wasn't one game last year where he showcased his pro potential. I hope he makes huge strides this year. I can't see him becoming a big scorer so he going to have to impress with his all round game.

Ajax is one of those guys who has more NBA potential than NCAA potential.

Why? Frame, athleticism, good passer, defensive versatility.

His shooting/scoring/handle will keep improving, but could also continue to improve in the NBA.

Andre could make a lot of money as a defensive specialist. Just gotta be passable on offense.

paypal? bank transfer? western union? paypal? check? zelle? bitcoin? cashapp? venmo? apple pay?
All of the above. If you seriously think he's going to be in the NBA next year, which I don't think you do, and he ends up there, I'll send you $20. If you think that's not enough, I'll send you $50.

AJax will be greatly improved in all areas but with his shooting I would need to see it to believe it first before anything. He also needs to develop an offensive game off the dribble.

I think he will be able to defend well this year. Last year he stood straight up on defense. It’s fixable and basically just a bad habit from never really having to play d is in his life before that. I think he starts every game and has a breakout year

This site is rather unreliable. They used to have Sanogo in there but took him out it loos like.

Would love to see this happen. Great for him and UConn. Would take a pro mentality this off season to start this process.

Shooting is a problem as discussed. But he didn't get to the rim or attempt to go to the rim if there was a defender between him. Mid range game? Tear drop? Finger roll? Up under other side? We did not see any of that.

There was some confidence issues, offensively,

Andre is a very unique player. The reason I think he will be in the NBA eventually is that he has the ability to impact a game in so many ways (defense , rebounding, passing, dunks, etc.) and has tremendous athleticism. If he can tighten up his handle and improve his shot to an acceptable level, he is a surefire NBA player.

From a freshman productivity standpoint, it's crazy to think that he could be gone after his sophomore year. But from a potential standpoint, it's very easy to understand.
