High school profile.

Short, compact build that projects best to an inside receiver spot.... Experience at receiver, running back, cornerback, and on special teams. Primarily recruited as a receiver, but also has gotten looks as an athlete or corner. Type of offensive athlete with whom a staff can get creative. Pretty quick off the line and shows impressive lateral mobility in the short area. Capable of stringing together moves to maximize runs and run-after-catch opportunities. Provides consistent big-play ability. Stretches the field in vertical game.....Total athletic profile lacks context from measurable standpoint....owns a promising 100-meter time (11.14). Shows good on-field burst but can improve top-end speed and consistency. Lack of size limits blocking effectiveness at the next level and long-term physical ceiling. Also would present potential red-zone issues in a corner role. Athletic, productive, big-play prospect who projects to Power 5 level.

Gotta give him the nickname "mustard", right?

(yes, I know it's spelled differently and pronounced "DAY-zhon", but still)

You get a kid who has already tasted D1 at highest level.
He doesn't get interest from peer level schools, so he flips attention to playing time and fresh start.
I get that part. How did we get him? Do we have a Texas guy? Maybe I should already know.
