UConn recruit Eric Young mention in this article. Team is still alive in state playoffs. Young is #2 receiver on team. Von Hill, the #1 WR has a few B1G 10 and Pac-12 offers.

Led by mega-recruit Von Hill, speedsters Tehrenzo Turner and Eric Young and red-zone threat Jaden Millener, the Eagles receivers have averaged 208.8 yards per game in a District 1-5A championship season that has led up to Friday’s regional semifinal at home against Tallahassee Godby.

“We’ve got a lot of depth with our skill guys,” Pine Forest head coach Jason McDonald said. “If a team stops one of them, we go somewhere else. It’s hard to stop that many skill guys like the ones we’ve got.”

Hill, Millener and Young have accounted for a majority of the big plays, combining for 16 touchdowns. Quarterback LD Clardy has thrown for 19 touchdowns with 2,081 yards and seven interceptions.

“Everybody plays their part,” Young said, who leads the team with 624 yards. “Von and Jaden go deep … you put me and Tehrenzo in space, anything can happen

If Princeton can play a Game in Shanghai, China ... why can't UCONN have an international Game in a big Eastern Canada city

What's going on ... Football is a much bigger sport - and the Canadian athletic foundation of Preps, Clubs, PeeWee is far more advanced than 2006 when I moved there. Friends who coached then & maintain broad contacts through the two most active provinces for us - Ontario & Quebec - say that the participation has increased dramatically. NFL is big on Sundays for young Canadian males; it is the only sport that interrupts HockeyTalk on SportsRadio 24/7.

It is absolutely good strategy. We will get big linemen; we will get fast skill players (Canadian immigration from lots of global markets is robust as well); we will get kids that can throw - in inclement weather; and the skill leval and coaching is getting far better.

Should think about hiring a coach from up there also

Vero Beach Florida LB/DB Evian Irving:

we need him on our D... great timing on his hits... would make opposing offensive WRs think twice about catching the football over the middle of the field....

Us needing him and our coaches being able convince him to come here don't seem intersect.

My question is the offers he had, were they still available from Missouri and Indiana?

Schools fill spots and players lose out. Of course if he signs late instead of in December he could find a spot at a bigger school.
