Definitely interesting to see how much divergence there has been between what seemed to be the consensus first-round picks by everyone (including ESPN) versus what the teams are actually looking for.
ESPN was doing good thru the first 5 picks. After that their projections went completely belly up.

So relieved they listed Sabally at 6’3” instead of the absurd 6’5” she labored under on the Oregon roster. Congrats to Lexie Hull for upending the chalk. 3 point shouter, high energy, toughness. Mya with her 6’3” 3 point shooting could be a steal for an already strong team.

Amazing that on that 2019 Baylor team... the two starters at PF and Center were eventual 1st round picks, as well as the two backups.

There are some players that should’ve stayed for a 5th year, but next years draft is too good to stay and potentially miss a roster spot or chance to prove yourself

Yeah. Too bad the 2 starters from 2019 have already been given up on by the teams that drafted them.

Kierstan Bell #11 to the Aces. Small forward was probably a position of need, so one of those first round picks could fill that role.

Kone international player there was a lot of buzz about. Surprised nobody pulled the trigger on her in the 1st Round.

Thrilled for her. She is the kind of glue team player that a rebuilding team could use to build team chemistry, energy, and effort. Psyched that she proved the ESPN prognosticators wrong and went in the first half of the first round despite not even getting an invite!
I don't think she's proved them wrong until she actually makes in it the league.

Right now she's just another in a line of surprising Fever draft picks. Hopefully Dunn's curveball draft picks end up better than Catchings'

It was highway robbery that she wasn’t invited. She’s an energy player who doesn’t make many mistakes. One particular late-season game aside, it felt like she was Stanford’s most productive player almost any time I checked a box score,
Surprised Hull went this high, though she also is the unsung hero type of player that only fans of a program will know aboht.

Her offense was inconsistent at times, but her defense and leadership were always on display. She’s not a player that will set the WNBA on fire, but she is someone who every team needs who want to win a championship.

The interesting thing will be how she will do without her sister Lacie by her side.
