Great winning series today. Hoping we have started to turn the corner. We do need to string a few wins together, but these early season games may pay big dividends at end of year ( RPI wise).

Even though it is still very early, our RPI is at 18. Also the Big East has 3 teams in top 50 RPI, and a total of 6 teams in top 100. The Conference RPI rank is #4. Not sure if this will keep up, but so far so good.

Agree with your comment. As the California spring break trip progressed, it seemed to me that the team was starting to turn things around after the poor start to the season. Thought UConn baseball was about to make a nice run of things. Well, so much for that, need to hope that things come around when the Big East games start, otherwise it could be that UConn baseball's streak of 5 consecutive invites to the NCAA tournament might end with this season.

I’m historically optimistic about our At Large bid opportunity, but this year we need an incredible turnaround for us to have any possibility.
Our only saving grace at this time is our team and conference RPI. If this keeps up, we may be able to sneak in with less than our 40 win goal.

Still with 6 opportunities against quality out of conference teams remaining. Currently top 100 rpi. It’s a long shot at an at-large, but itll keep it interesting.

Easier said then done, but a Big East exit across all sports but hockey, asap, is needed. Unfortunately, a 6th Title will only further Uconn from a P5 affiliation! Sad, but truth in that I believe.

Unfortunately as each loss adds up, our At Large bid becomes less likely. I hate to say this so early in the season, but looks like the only way we are getting a bid is to win BE tournament.

Was at game yesterday. Went with my friend Sean Moore ( Ryan Moore’s dad). We were able to speak with Coach Penders before the game. Always a pleasure speaking to him and a classy man.
He hooked us up with a tour of the facilities, with our guide being Ryan Daniels. Three of the four of us graduated from St. Paul, so it was nice that a fellow St Paul graduate gave us the tour.
Facilities are amazing. Ryan was a very impressive young man. Represents the university and baseball team extremely well. It was a pleasure meeting him.
The day was topped off with a win, hopefully this gets the team going in right direction.
