Cross is Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week and third time this season after his performance Friday night at Tulane. The Brentwood, New Hampshire, native tossed seven shutout innings in a 6-0 UConn win that opened a series win for the Huskies in New Orleans. For the year, Cross is 6-1 with a 1.49 ERA, .178 opposing batting average and 65 strikeouts against 12 walks.<<
