It seems like Bazz played well tonight but I cringed when I saw the six turnovers. Were they all careless or was it a case of his teammates not helping him out?

Mostly loose with the ball - Birdman dropped one pass (after that fancy dribbling Vine) that should have bend Birdman's TO and they gave it to Bazz. And he got a weird offensive foul call when someone reached in - thought it would be a held ball, which would have probably ended up being a TO anyway after he lost the jump ball. Once he slipped trying to cut too fast and gave the Nets a fast break, and the others were getting stripped dribbling through traffic.

OKC fans watching Lamb must have the same feeling we had during the 11-12 season. The Thunder offense is mystifying with the "Lamb in the corner offense" and running way too many sets through Lance Thomas, but Lamb still has to be more aggressive than he is. The Thunder have 8 guys, you can't be as passive as he is and give up your dribble after only a few dribbles to make the next pass. Lance Thomas and Telfair don't even hesistate to get shots up because they know what kind of opportunity they have getting run on a depleted team, Lamb figures to be in the actual rotation and he's out there playing like he's got shackles on. This has been the perfect opportunity for him and he's been way too uneven. There's no doubt in my mind that Roberson and Jones are gonna take minutes from him in different lineup configurations when they get healthy and its only gonna get more jumbled when Durant and Westbrook come back.

Rough game for shabazz going on right now on NBA tv. Having to guard Chris Paul is never an easy assignment especially when you are a rookie

I thought he was playing ok up until the 2 turnover stretch where he should've looked to shoot instead of forcing to Birdman and he should've called a TO when he got swallowed up on that dbl team. As far as defense it seems like their philosophy is for the guards to go under screens while the big flashes, CP3 was killing them with that.

Even still he played 30+ minutes and was the only player (in the rotation) close to a decent +/-

He missed a couple of early 3s but yea the turnovers were the main issue and partially the defense he had a couple of good shots

Rudy Gay is playing great on TNT right now. Thinking that his move to Sacramento was a really good thing for him

Rudy finished with 20 points and 7 boards on 7-11 shooting in a BIG win over the Bulls. He and DMC make a great tandem in Sacramento. Rudy has definitely found a home with the Kings. He is playing consistent and efficient basketball and establishing himself as Robin to DMC's Batman on a possible playoff team. I'm very happy for Rudy Gay.

It's too bad the Kings don't play in the east. With Cousins, Rudy, and some other solid pieces, they could realistically contend. In the west they're probably regulated to fighting for an eight seed.

No Norris Cole tonight so Bazz has a big opportunity, no start but he came in much earlier off the bench. Tough matchup for him tho, already he's been defended by and had to defend Oladipo and Elfrid Payton, thats alot of length and athletcisim.

Also a good chance for Ben Gordon to hopefully build on his good game last night, though minutes will be tough to come by.

Very nice 1st half for Bazz, 9pts and 1 assist, I thought he had 2 but it looks like they ganked him for 1 because Bosh took an extra dribble on a jumper. The Magic commentators were giving him props for how in control he plays and within himself.

His shot is really coming along, and he is becoming more confident. he might get close to his career high tonight.

Uneven 2nd half performance, knocked down a 3 but then Payton started getting all up into him and causing havoc for him and the entire Heat roster during an extended stretch, dude might already be one of the better defensive PGs in the league. Bazz started adjusting to him and was able to free himself for a nice clean midrange J that went in and out, then got him with a blowby, got fouled at the rim, and then missed both free throws, so that was 4pts left on the table that would have got him to 16 instead of 12. Still another dbl figure scoring night that he shot effeciently so he appears to be trending upwards.

Couper Moorhead
@CoupNBA
Shabazz Napier is playing 22 minutes a game, has played in every game and every 4th quarter and has a True-Shooting % over 60.

Shandel Richardson @ShandelRich
And let's not forget about Shabazz Napier. Scored in double-figures five straight games while shooting 55 percent.

alot of stuff from the past that us as UConn fans are aware of but then it gets to what he's showing in Miami towards the end. Good read, from reading twitter/boards most Heat fans seem high on Bazz, complete 180 after the Summer League sessions.

Interesting read, but JC's legacy wasn't tarnished, so far as I can tell, and it's funny how few people understand Boston:

"He was a common sight at local basketball tournaments in Roxbury, an inner-city neighborhood outside Boston."

Umm...Boston is most certainly inside Boston.
