I refuse to believe the ACC is this good.
I believe UNC. Can sorta buy into Duke, as they've improved. NC State is riding on emotion from winning ACC tourney and they have a unicorn in Davis Jr.

But Clemson? Clemson is not good.

I didn't realize Illinois has that kind of size -- they're one of the few teams that can match or even exceed us at 6'5 at every position. Clingan has a height advantage, but that didn't help much tonight.

ISU more traditionally sized and should be a fine matchup.

SVG compares the Illinois center to Giannis.

That 5-out style could be a problem for us.
Their defense is barely in the Top 100. And our offense is as good as theirs. It would be a tough game, but Illinois hasn't beaten a really good team all year.

Both Clemson and Arizona both have 4 of 5 starters that are Seniors or grad students. Experience > one and dones
Castle, Karaban, and Clingan are pretty good.

I think ISU will withstand the 1st half and grind back and get the W .

I prefer Illinois, but anything will be fine. I think we have a Shannon-stopper in Castle.

Iowa State can't score and can't rebound, per SVG. I'm not sure they'd stay within 20 of us.

ISU’s offense looks rough. Shannon is a great player, but I have to think that the Castle/Clingan combo is the best shot of any to slow him down.

Iowa state doesn't really have any matchup advantages on offensive side. Illinois has quicker foot speed.
