Because I love being considered an insider <-enter own sarcasm.....

#1 - strength....it will come w/. hard work, but this is the most glaring weakness in his game.

Thanks.

Yes. The quiet about this visit has been deafening.

His scouting reports kind of reminds me of Kyle Kuzma. Similar ratings and height/weight too.

We are in a good spot here, but distance will be the challenge. Kid does say all the right things RE: location. Could be a nice piece to this class.

Perimeter shooting seems to be one of the most dire needs for 2016...he would seem to fit that bill.
Not that I think he is the 2nd coming of Thompson, but just like Klay Thompson is the son of long, lanky big-man, Brendan is the son of Thurl Bailey.

Bailey is rated much higher than Kuzma. Composite has him at #52 Kuzma was #182

This guy is a low key target, but I would LOVE to have him. He could be the best shooter we've had in a long time. Giffey and Daniels had singularly great years in 13-14, but we haven't had a guy who could really fill it from three in a while.

Like his release and square to the basket form - nice to see highlight reel with no dunks ! Of course we saw the 38% of 3's he made not the 62% he missed.
At any rate, looks a little like J Lamb's game.

The difference between championship quality teams at UConn and last season is players like Bailey. It's the teams that are loaded with the 50-100 players for depth vice the 100-250 players.

Looks sharp and confident.

Comes from good genes and talked of working out with his dad as a sophomore and is now older. He said he was 6'7" after growing a couple inches that year and dad's 6'9" - 6'10" so he could be a big kid.

Guess it's between him and Gabriel for another swing/bigs spot? Unless Kegler is still an option?

SF is not a glaring weakness, but I would love to bring a kid like Bailey into the fold. Let's see how it plays out.

@Zionn @3uconn @husky99 any chance he commits on his visit or no?

He doesn't seem to have any other visits planned and doesn't have many high major teams recruiting him. Hope he falls in love on his visit.

Wow this came out of nowhere. Would be a great addition and provide depth. Could learn from Larrier and maybe a junior D-Ham.

Does signing in the fall bind him to the school even if he goes on his mission before he gets to campus?
