Just not one of the streams that is on Chromecast and it doesn't play in a chrome browser either.

I bought the Chromecast and the Chrome browser wouldn't work with my just-a-couple-months old Nexus 7. Said my OS wasn't compatible. Couldn't believe it. At least the Netflix works great.

2. What if you don't subscribe to ESPN3? I wonder if it's worth it at this point.

If you get cable, chances are you can get ESPN 3 on your computer. Give it a try!

I know it works on Cox Cable. You just log in using your COX id.

Also, I haven't tried it, but apperently Roku has a WatchESPN channel that you can use to view ESPN3.

It is possible to hook your computer to your tv and watch it that way....
That's how I do it. Computer screen is getting too small for my eyes.

The ESPN 3 broadcasts are also sometimes subject to blackout restrictions.

I live in CT, have Apple TV as well as computer access to ESPN3. I don't see our game on the Sat. schedule.

Not if its online-exclusive, which this game is.

FYI for radio broadcast - on 96.5 FM with pregame at 1:45 PM......NOT 1080.

ESPN3 blacked me out of the Notre Dame game today in Vermont.
Go figure.

this is what you need to know. ESPN holds the rights for Sat game. They CHOSE to not allow any others to have broadcast rights so that they could drive viewership to espn3. If you are not happy with that complain to ESPN, they are putting their financial priorities ahead of your viewing pleasure. It is the world we live in. Sorry about that.

HUSK: I went and figgered; this is what I'm thinkin. Only the really, really, really smart Irish live in VT....and, of course, they are UCONN fans.............so, no ND coverage up that way.

The world of "media rights" we live in is pretty amazing, isn't it? ESPN pretty much gobbles up any rights they can and on a whim decides what games they will allow the public to see and in what states.

The #19 UConn men are playing #11 Louisville at 2:00 on CBS. As much as I love the women, I don't need to see the Huskies beat Cincinnati by 40 again. I'll be watching the guys today.

One of the nice things about espn3 is that, if you like, you can always replay it later.

2. You get ESPN3 thru your internet provider, not your cable or direct tv. So no subscription needed. It's an on-line link.
Roku has WatchESPN (espn3) to be able to watch on your tv vs. computer monitor.
