UConn brings big markets
If this statement was true, Uconn would not be in the AAC. The conferences have the detailed TV numbers in the markets and if Uconn brought NYC and Boston in FB, then Uconn and its fans would be watching this with a bemused smile.

The XII screwed themselves thinking that round robin would work out fine. They thought no CCG was ideal. No chance a lower team knocks off their best team in a CCG which is a nightmare scenario for any conference. Now they are trying to catch up and will do it in a dumb manner and take teams that might not be the best long term fit.

What the XII needs to wake up to is that even with a CCG, they probably would have been left out in the cold too. The OSU win was that impressive and there was no way the other 3 would have been jumped by a XII team. But that is as poorly run of a conference as there is (now that the BE no longer exists). Bottom line is who does TX and OK deem acceptable for football to get them to 12 (even though 14 seems to look like a good number based on the bowl revenues for the SEC and ACC).
