Happy for Pat. He's been a good person to have involved with the UConn program. Wish him the best in his career.

Congrats Pat.

Have any UNC or Syracuse bb players gone to Harvard Medical School? That is for an education as opposed to as a cadaver!

I knew Pat had the goods the moment I saw him leap off the bench before anyone else knew what was happening when Rodney edged past Moore. He see things better than the rest of us.

Pat Lenehan played three years of UConn basketball, was named a University scholar, a Babbidge scholar, made at least one American Conference All-Academic team and will likely make another....and next year he'll be tapping his National Championship ring on a desk at the Harvard Medical School.

Holy f---.....the rest of us wasted four years at UConn compared to this kid.

(In twenty years when UConn opens the Lenehan Family Locker Room, remember today.)

It is so damn hard to get into any decent medical school but Harvard? Congratulations Pat, just an incredible accomplishment!

That's great and all, but can he draw some schematics or come up with some equations to help us win 5 more games?

At least I was a University scholar too. No championship ring though :(

People are forgetting he is an Eisenhower Scholar and a Rhodes Scholar finalist. Clearly, he could go anywhere.
Plus the time to be on a D1 Basketball team. Clearly makes us all look like slackers.
Well deserved!

I majored in molecular & cell bio when I was at uconn and that was no joke. Can't imagine being on the basketball team while taking those classes.

Good for him

The hardest part is undergraduate at UConn. Once you get into medical school the rest is easy. He will be great and congratulations to him.

Lenehan also got into medical school at John Hopkins, Duke and Columbia. He's waiting to hear from Yale and Penn.

He is so smart. Great kid, congrats to him!
Can't believe nobody has pointed out that it's Johns Hopkins, not John Hopkins. Did Gavin go to Pittburg or something like that? (inb4 my 'typo' yes, it's on purpose)
