You should have your mother in law move in with you. That way you would never have to make a decision on what to do about anything. She would be there 24/7 to tell you what to do about everything. Your life would be so much easier.

Never had a problem with my mother in law staying with us. Frankly, it was always a good thing because she drove my wife crazy and made me look good by comparison.

Right next door to GoldBurgers is Rooster Co. WAAAAAY better, and one of my faves in the area. Farm to table, clean, organic. Think Boston Market menu, but much, much better, and not much more pricier.

Red Fox in Middletown is Chief’s recommendation. Good food and service. Also, its only a mile off of I-91. Exit 20 coming from New Haven or Exit 21 from Hartford.

Pond House in Elizabeth Park. Or take her to a buffet. Old people love buffets, earlier the better.

Maybe it's not about the food . . .
You did leave the possibilities open with this line, so I suggest the Berlin Tpke and the Grantmoor. There's a Panera Bread in the same plaza, so 1 stop takes care of all your needs.

LOL, and I just read they reopen next Thursday after working on fire damage.

Cromwell Diner.
Solid choice for a four-hour catch-up-after-too-long breakfast. The serving was big enough for leftovers-as-lunch in the parking lot before driving back home.

Like your blue fingernails Hans. It was nice of stepmother to take the picture for us.
