That's likely. Question is, is there anything UConn could have done about that, that wasn't done? Realistically, we (fans) don't know. I suppose some of us will pretend we know.

No idea. But, it was pretty clear early on that Louisville was coming on strong, the rose garden/ paradise jam back channel strategy probably wasn't the way to go.

It's obvious that at some point we were so confident that we were gone, that Aresco was informed. If that doesn't influence your campaign strategy then I don't know what will.

I just think it was a case of terrible timing. The ACC were getting ridiculed about their football credentials throughout this year and felt they needed to bring in a school with a high ceiling in football.
