Let's hope she doesn't get "Wally Pipped!"A bit of a shock. That will definitely open the door for someone else to be that 5th starter, even when Butler is able to return to the court. If someone gets into that starting rotation and does well Geno may not be willing to change things up.
My bet was always on Williams anyway. Even when Butler was healthy.Damn! So the starter will be Gabby, Napheesa, or Lou.
Get well, Natalie!
If we have a Lou Gehrig on the bench, I'll take it! Wait! We do have a Lou!Let's hope she doesn't get "Wally Pipped!"
Yessss! Good news.De'Janae has been working in practice over last three or four days.
We can hypothesize why and how we don't need Butler--but wasn't it a bit more comfy when an 6 ft 5" (hopefully Steff like) was sitting there waiting to come in?? Big bad bummer..My bet was always on Williams anyway. Even when Butler was healthy.
So, that's a minimum 9 or 10 games, or roughly one third of a season. Courtney Ekmark comes to mind.
Eeww! So more than just a sore thumb.Had Surgery on her torn ligaments in her thumb and is out until Christmas or later according to Geno.
Nah. No one can replace KML.This is terrible news. The OOC schedule just got a little more interesting. I want to say KLS should get the starting spot because we need someone to replace KML, and who better to replace a KML than a KLS?
I feel terrible for her - she was so psyched to get into a game after sitting all last year. The positive, if there is one, is that hand injuries are not weight bearing, and rarely become recurring problems. Hopefully she can keep her conditioning work up and hit the court running once she is cleared.
Does anyone know which hand, shooting or non shooting?
My bet was always on Williams anyway. Even when Butler was healthy.
I going with KLS as the 5th starter now.I'm calling Napheesa Collier for the 5th starter now. Should be lots of PT for her, KLS, and Gabby Williams.
