Geno said the same thing after the game in an interview with Doris Burke but implied that he didn't get a good look at the incident and didn't have a TV monitor to get a followup look so I don't think he's absolutely sure exactly what happened.

My daughter broke her elbow on a similar fall and was back in 2 months. If that's the case, better now than late in the year like when Nykesha Sales injured her knee.

I missed the game, but just looked at the replay closely. I'm hopeful. I hated the scream, but Kaleena was not airborne that high, seemed to impact her hand then elbow, and rolled with the impact. I was expecting far worse based on comments I read.

In any event let's hope she just has a bad bone bruise and mild sprain. Even a mild fracture wouldn't be all that bad, you can bounce back in 6 weeks. However if she has a bad fracture or bad nerve and ligament damage the recovery can be longer and not necessarily a full recovery.
