It should work, it's been working for me for the past month and just posted a tweet in the schedule thread by doing it

Click on the Share icon on the bottom of the tweet. When the menu comes up, don’t click on Copy Link, click on Share Via to open the tweet in your browser. You can copy the URL from your browser

If you cut and paste from the web, it's Twitter. From the app, it's x.com. Musk is a genius.

Twitter.com urls have always worked (except when they didn't). x.com has never worked, and won't until the board script is updated.
