I heard there was a 85/1 futures # on UConn at 1 of the books in Vegas as of 10/23/13 but got bet down to 60/1 at that place. Did you hear anything about that?

That's what Joseph "The Animal" Barboza told me. Do you know Joey boy? Mauconn and Fluedy introduced me to him a few years ago at Paradise Club in Vegas after they finished putting a hit on someone with water balloons.

Remember half of winning proceeds must go back into the UConn kitty via donation. You understand that right? If not Barboza is coming after you.

After being forced to sit out of the Big Dance last year, Kevin Ollie's Huskies are primed to make some noise in 2014. The Huskies return all five starters from last year's 20-win team, including senior studs Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright in an elite backcourt. And now that frosh Kentan Facey has been declared eligible, and fellow frosh Amida Brimah looked great in exhibition play, UConn just might have the frontcourt muscle to make a deep March run.

UConn is not 75-1 at any casino in Vegas so maybe ESPN Insider needs to meet "the animal" Barboza to get the goods. Hilton went from 75-1 to 50-1 ending the 75-1 dream.My guy was in Vegas from the 22nd -26th to meet with Barboza at the Wynn. 60-1 was the best you could get as of the 26th for UConn at a casino somewhere.
