Shame on the Committee for only allowing 3 BE teams in this year. As DH said, 6 should have been in. Disgraceful.

As DH said, the rough, physical BE gets us ready for the OOC. The OOC becomes a piece of cake.

51-1 in the OOC.

But only 40-18 in the BE Regular season.

Any ideas on what can account for early and late season dominance?

This is not a fluky stat.

It's tested over 3 separate seasons.

Dominate non-BE teams.
you see each team at least 2 times a year and you learn your other opponents coaches tendencies in tape study against common opponents.

No, it was and you ignored it. You can’t go 51-1 playing half of your games on the road. You can if very few games are true road games.
I didn't ignore it. I just don't think it addresses the disparity. For instance, undefeated 18-0 in 2011. But 9-9 in the BE. Over 3 separate seasons 51-1 is wild, especially when 18 of those games are tourney games.

Familiar with us in conference(the know the players and coaches seeing them multiple times), big east officiating(let more things go), conference road games(creighton, xavier, nova, the rock, the dunk all tough places to play no matter the records).

Coaches in the BE are worlds better. I’d take our top 6 coaches over Matt Painter and Brad Underwood any day
