Serious question??? Could we have 5-6 legit scorers?

By my count we have 8 guys who could score in double digits on any given night, all 5 of the guards, Cobb, Carlton, and Polley. And thats before Sid returns.

That said, we are going to need alot more from the frontcourt going forward than we got tonight aside from Cobb who was sensational other than the two charges. What a great first half he had, and he rebounded great too.

Chips, maybe a little dip. If he's smart, he'll sit back, introduce himself and let this party come to him.

They kept saying that SU was not at their best because Frank was out... Imagine if we had Sid and Diarra playing

I honestly forgot we didn’t have Sid. My bad. He’ll be back in a couple weeks. Once he gets into the flow, look out.

Depth hopefully. He's going to have to be really good to get minutes. We have a heck of a team.

At 6’7” and a good shot, he’ll be great at flashing to the middle of the zone.

Sure he and Diarra will bring something to the party, but trying to find a place on the table to put it is starting to become a factor.

This is what our 40 minute long table is starting to look like now, so they better hurry up:

I am excited about the prospect of adding Sid but Polley and Whalley look upgraded from last year. Polley could become a Rashad like assasin.

Wow, I'm not going to single him out but that means the one dude who looked like he never played basketball before last night will have more limited minutes and maybe be in a better position. Had totally forgot about Diarra!!!!

The real area where I think Sid will help is finishing around the rim, both on the break and when our guards penetrate and draw the defense. Jalen made several nice passes to Yawke who managed to actually go up and get fouled one time, and who shied away from the hoop the other times. Diarra would be good at finishing those as well.

He wasn't supposed to be a great shooter in HS, but he has had a year to work on that. I honestly don't know how his pressure D is, hopefully good.

Athleticism. Some putback and allyoop dunks. Some blocks out of nowhere.

Perfect compliment to what Polley brings to the table, if we're being honest.

He'd better bring effort if he wants any PT.
