Some background: Shemera is from Milwaukee, ranked #55 by HG, was committed to Carolyn Kieger's Marquette squad, but when Kieger bolted for Penn State she sought and got a release from her NLOI and reopened her recruitment.

It bums me out that Marquette couldn't retain Kieger, especially now that UConn is set to rejoin the Big East.
