Population wise, I feel like this is fairly balanced between the 3, our territory is still the smallest but would guess its fairly close

Interesting. US is pretty close to 333,333,333 million people.

So, we're looking for about 111,111,111 per segment.

Lobos are probably pretty close to that number.

Purdue has the biggest population. Florida, probably about a million in Texas, Eastern half of Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas and the Dakotas. Throw in Illinois, Michigan, Georgia................. And they have the most.

UConn is definitely the smallest population of the three.

Purdue certainly the biggest by population by far, but I'm not sure NMST is ahead of UConn. Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio the only reason they might be.
  1. Eastern Time Zone - 154,892,174 (46.75% of the U.S. population)
  2. Central Time Zone - 95,774,455 (28.91% of the U.S. population)
  3. Pacific Time Zone - 55,503,963 (16.75% of the U.S. population)
  4. Mountain Time Zone - 23,001,711 (6.94% of the U.S. population)
  5. Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone - 1,413,013 (0.43% of the U.S. population)
  6. Alaska Time Zone - 733,676 (0.22% of the U.S. population)

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the rest of the play? Those four Texas metros are 20 million in the Lobos pocket.

They have Cali, which is like 48 million alone.

Yet the whole two western time zones + Alaska & Hawaii, everything Colorado/NM and west, is still just 24.34%. So well short of 33%. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Let's go Huskies!

Well, Texas is about 30m, which would take some part of the central time zone, even taking away else paso (less than 700,000) which is already in mountain time) and the very eastern portions that go to Purdue (less than 500,000) and you might get close to 33% for NM.

They've got OKC too, so probably get there.
