Lou's 3rd takeaway this half. Lou's shooting form is still and has been good, even through her drought.

Up 22 with 5.6 to go. Crummy, crummy UConn effort! Bad players! Dreadful coaches!

They would be better if they would read and follow the BY. True news.

Geno at half: Well right now we'd be up 5 or 6 more if she (Collier) would stop passing to Nat and go score there's nobody that can guard her she's too unselfish. Our guards have to do a better job of moving the ball then we start dribbling it and dribbling it.

It's not only that we miss so much with Kia out, but also that Dangerfield is just a continuous mistake waiting to happen. She needs to improve soooo much.

That was not a great play drawn up for 5.6 left pn clock. Phees handles the ball, and everyone else gets out of the way ?

And there's the horrendous nightly foul called on Collier.
There's always one. Hopefully that's the only one because I think that's two on her now. Can't afford to have her sit with Kia out and Gabby in foul trouble.

Baskets in the Paint at the half
Temple 1 (1-0)
UConn 9 (9-0)

I have both teams with no points in the paint in that quarter. The closest was Dangerfields basket with 1.18 left in the half, but the replay showed she was outside the paint.

Much better energy this game than the Tulane game. Better defense leading to points in transition that wasn't there last Saturday. The halftime score reflects that. They keep this energy up and get into a rhythm I predict the outside shooting will improve.

Pheesa is the only consistent scorer on the floor, so why not?
