OT: UConn apparel and equipment surplus sale

I’ve been a UConn club member for many years and never heard this before, Is it worth a hour drive?

Depends if you like buying left over t-shirts for $3.

The last one they had at the rent I actually got some random decent things.

I say yes. I got a UConn Nike hoodie probably goes for $75 and paid $20. Also got a few Nike UConn polos that went for around $75 and those were $15. I’m going again this year. Luck of the draw as to what merchandise will be there. Some people walked out of there with a box full of stuff

I’m still annoyed they scheduled a weekday game at 2pm two days before Christmas a few years ago.

I love events like that. Nothing like a few drinks and a fun activity just before Thanksgiving or Christmas. I’ve always found those times to be special. There is something great about being somewhere fun when you would normally be working and not feeling guilty about it. Kind of like a snow day.
